Boca Chica is now serving Dominican street food at Rye Wax, the record store, bar & venue in Peckham. I visited at the weekend to try their food, and loved it - really tasty and filling - and really enjoyed meeting Vigma, the founder. Expect dishes like PicaPollo (fried chicken), Arepas (see pic - with slow-cooked beef), and their mini TosTon burgers. They are serving Tuesdays to Sundays, including from 2pm on Fridays to Sundays until mid March, possibly longer.
Rajiv's Kitchen's has popped up at Louie Louie in Walworth Road, SE17, for six weeks of Nepalese cooking, this time with a fully vegan menu. Lebanese ice cream is known for its light elastic texture and Festok have created their own bespoke flavours such as Date, Turmeric, Carob and Meghli. Their organic ice cream is natural, rich in flavour, plant-based and, they say, quite addictive! Looking forward to trying this!
For starters, it was hard to avoid their oyster selection with a selection of vinaigrettes. They were some of the freshest and largest oysters I've ever tried from West Mersea.

A close inspection of their menu will indicate there is virtually no difference between their menu and a non-gluten-free restaurant's menu; if anything they make extra sure, there is no compromise on the taste of their food.
